The Pool (revisited)
Through the Forest
so Dark,
My Soul seeking the Light,
Finds a Clearing with a Pool,
Rock Bound, A Pool so Deep,
A Pool of Dark, Dark Blue.
It's Depths They call to Me,
A Song They Sing of Sweet Relief,
Beneath it's Surface My Heart wants to Slip.
Now, I Stand, Poised on the Rim,
Forgetfulness
is
the Promise of the Deep.
But Wait, Wait for I See, a Glimmer,
A Glimmer of Light now Reflected in the Pool,
Now More Appear, More and More,
All Moving Nearer to Me.
My Heart in My Throat, I stand.
The Pool, Now so Bright, No Longer Calls to Me,
I Look Up and Find,
My Friends Now Surround Me.
My Soul They Bear Up and Fill with Light.
Thank You My Friends, I Love you So.
